Health Care: Using Images and Graphics for Instant Feedback
I came across a few interesting research tools that use images, graphics and videos to assess personal health. The nice thing is that it doesn’t really matter if we are gaining feedback from youth patients or elderly patients. Using emoticons or graphics can really work well for all age categories and in multiple health settings.
So, I went ahead to see if I could actually create a unique version within the FactFinder Solution powered by Jitsutech. I am happy to report that I was successful! Rather than using this as a research tool, I chose to build a sample for you to see how useful this can be in routine clinical or health care settings. I simply focused on patient feelings by using a five-point scale and embedded a couple Emoticon Questions.
The clear benefit for you is that the feedback can be instantly reviewed which allows you to enhance patient care. Also, you could actually add points to each answer and have pre-determined feedback for the patient to review, if you add other styles of questions. This function is known as a Health Assessment.
