The general purpose of survey research is to gain opinions and feedback from a sample population on a certain topic or series of topics. Conducting surveys can be very beneficial as they can be delivered to a wide audience base and at a relatively in-expensive cost to your organization.
Today, I would like to talk about a Social Support Survey that is geared towards people with chronic illness. This specific Social Support Survey is self-administered and uses a 5-Point Rating Scale. This type of survey can be used stand alone with feedback for general analysis or you can use the 5-Point Rating Scale with a scoring technique.
Both options are available in the FactFinder Solution with the unique ability to offer feedback along with scoring. The feedback ability of the software can give the respondent valuable information related to their score or percentage out of 100. Think about how validating this can be for a respondent to receive immediate feedback after they submit their survey. Pretty cool if you ask me!
