The Health Assessment Questionnaire
I consider myself a continuous learner and came across a very interesting study with a Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) that I wanted to share. Based on the study, this Health Assessment Questionnaire was initially designed for patients with arthritis, but as I continued to analyze the study I realized that it can be adapted and used in a variety of health settings to evaluate care.
The HAQ has approximately 20 questions that cover eight component areas such as dressing and grooming, arising, eating, walking, hygiene, reach, grip and outdoor activities. Though the HAQ can be filled out on paper, I thought it would be an interesting exercise to put this online using the FactFinder Solution powered by Jitsutech.
